nicolas guilbert's current gear

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM
My prime cam atm.
My backup cam.
Great lens, I miss a stop. But the 2.8 is not first priority.
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
Canon EF 28mm f/2.8
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
My workhorse, used 80% of the time
I never use it nowadays
The I, which is better than the II, but not on the list
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM
Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
Great lens love it, a bit heavy sometimes. But this one and the 28-70 2:8L is more or less what i use for for 95% of my work now
Newest lens. Love it.
Cheap and underated lens. Though i don't use it now i have the 85 1.2 L II
Other gear:
  • Hasselblad H4D-40 Not mine, but i use it occasionally.

nicolas guilbert's previous gear

Canon EOS-1D Mark II
Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Canon EOS 20D
I still have it, but don't use it anymore. great cam for action at the time. I miss it's snapy shutter.
Mirorbox died after 8 years, I upgraded to a Mk4, after wanting à 5dsr in a year.
My first digital DSLR after EOS1 film, great camera. I still have it and lend it out to friends who want to learn about shooting with a DSLR.
Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM
Canon EF 135mm f/2.0L USM
Dead after falling into the sea water.
Unless you ned f1:2 and low light, it is not really my friend. Slow on af and not better than my 28-70 2:8 L zoom at mid apertures.
Sold it and have to buy one again. This is gem in canon Fixed lenses. Super fast and sharp.
Canon EF 135mm f/2.8 SF
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
I never got god friend with this lens, so i sold it after a year or so.
Excelent lens while i shooted with 20D. A L for crop cameras.
