desaint: Everybody complaining,i think 10 dollar a month is a bargain for such a great software tool.

"Why look at it like 10 dollars a month? It's 33 cents a day... 1.3 cent an hour... they're practically giving it away for free! ;-)"

33 cents a day, if you use it every day. I'm just a hobbyist. Sometimes I go 2 months before I get out taking photos, some months I get out every weekend. I never have time to shoot during the week.

For the periods I barely get out, that's USD$20 per usage. That's why I don't like the subscription model, I'm not that active a user of the software.

I don't update _every_ version because I can't justify it, I don't use it enough. I went from LR3 straight to LR5. Same with Photoshop.

For my relatively minor amount of usage and data throughput, having to pay the same amount per month as someone who uses it daily as part of their job is a bit ridiculous.
