Thank you. Is there a reason you don't partition your 1TB C:\ drive?
-
That was part of my thinking in partitioning the boot drive. It would be easier to restore the OS and programs if something went wrong. Having said that, I have never created an OS image. Does ...

OK, I am happy not to partition. Agreed. Will do. Understood. Thank you. Do you have advice on how the SSDs should be formatted? Thank you.

I have a 4-year-old Alienware desktop running Win10. (I do not use the Alienware PC for gaming.) It has a 256 GB M.2 SSD for the boot drive and a 2TB HDD for data. I have about 600 GB of ...

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions. I've got a lot to think about. Is there an Irfanview equivalent for Mac, and does it have the comment feature as well?

I am looking for a way to attach captions to jpegs so that my great-grandchildren will know what they are looking at 50 years from now. In Irfanview, when viewing a jpeg image and one presses the ...

Sorry, this was my mistake. I wasn't trying to be deceptive. "Guarantee" was the wrong word. But DoF scales were once printed on lenses. They were designed to help the photographer. They never ...

I understand that the dual focus feature would not be flawless. But I know that my pix, whether of a family reunion or a press conference, will never be enlarged bigger than an 8x12. My ...

Thank you for your comments. I think I may have asked the wrong poll question. What I am suggesting with the two focus points can all be done with in-camera software. Maybe my question should be: ...

Hello Aaron. I did not know that. I am still using two D7200 Nikon DSLRs. Bill
