UncheckedError: I've run into this issue before. Inconsistency between frames, usually in terms of exposure is pretty jarring. I wish there was an automated way to accomplish this task in Lightroom; this is a good start though.

Now if only they could panning and zooming around in an image more fluid in the Windows version.

"The download for the update is nowhere to be seen...vaporwear..."

i have it since 3 hours.....

tom1234567: Just got rid of Adobe LR AND PP today
I now use on1Photo Raw instead of LR,
and the new Affinity for windows released today in place of PP.

so Adobe no more monies from me,
the LR done nothing for the Fuji jpeg problems
I have the Fuji X-T2 and the D7200 and the new programs handle the files with no problems
I think a few more users will be leaving Adobe soon

Tom G

"Nobby2016 I think PP stands for Premier Pro- Its a bit like Photoshop for videos"

no lol.... because affinity will sure not replace that. :)

i guess he meant PS...

In reply to:

Nobby2016: RX10 a compact..? what are you smoking.....

"'Compact camera' means that it has a fixed lens"

nonsense.

"but I don't recall smoking anything while writing it."

well maybe because you smoked too much....

"In the UK point-and-shoot predominantly means a fully automatic camera, regardless of size or shape. A "compact camera" on the other hand, has a small body, regardless of any fully automatic capabilities".

and there is also the compact system cameras.... term used for mirrorless cameras... has no fixed lens.

i know cameras with fixed lens that are twice the size of a DSLR.... nobody calls that a compact camera.

well there is a feature to match exposure automatically.

On article Mobile Speed: Portable SSDs for photographers (205 comments in total)
In reply to:

Frederik Photography: The diy solution would perform better if they had used lager ssd's and still be cheaper...

that is pretty much nonsense.
even 128GB or 64GB SSD´s can saturate a SATA 3 slot (550MB/s).
so SSD size is not the problem here.

they should have chosen a better SSD or case.
i only own intel and samsung SSD´s but i guess the sandisk SSD should deliver more than 250MB/s too (to lazy to check). so i guess the case is crap.

it is true that bigger SSD often can achieve better performance.
more flash chips = better parallelization to the controller.
but the DIY drive in this case has ONLY ~250 MB/s read and write speed.... any good 120GB SSD can beat that easily.

they should fire the engineers who created the karma drone.

and tell kolor that they should update autopano giga. :-(
since gopro bought kolor nothing happens... no bugfixes.. nothing.
they only code that video stuff.

(unknown member): Man, impressive as it is I still wonder where this is going. I mentioned in another comment the rising prices of camera models (Sony) in a time where the economic prospects are not that bright. It's only a small group of people that need that non-plus-ultra quality in this fast moving world of social media where images are taken with phones. I hope the photo-industry can cope ...
But impressive it is for sure ...

same as with hi-fi.
most listen to MP3 today. but there is still a small(er) group of people (including myself) who are willing to pay for real hi-fi (high end) audio gear.

the biz is just shifting away from the mass market a bit.
