Tim Gallo: I have this and previous generation models. Use it for retouch.
I found that this model is much less comfortable to use than previous, also still cant get used to buttons without displays on the side. The pens nib get used up faster. The feel of "pen-paper" is more like gimmick - and its get annoying with time if you do a long retouch session. But I got used to it. Maybe its better you if you drawing.
Bluetooth basically unusable, if you want to do proper work and expect precise response. So mine is always connected via usb-c cable - on which I have the same complaint as last - who though to put it on the side?! Why it cant be on upper side, so that the cable can hide somewhere :).
Anyway, wacom is the best for pro retouch work. So a must have.

Previous pro series was much better, but no longer available, unless used.

I still have and use my Intuos Pro 4 (6-7 years old). Works great and have no need to upgrade!
Working on Resolve, Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop! šŸ˜Ž

CameraTolerantGuy: I recently bought an EOS 3 (cheaper version of this) and I love it. Film is cool.

Avid Media Composer sucks! FCP7, which is 7 years dead, still kick its a.. regarding workflow. Premiere is light years ahead of it. I can't understand how avid is considered one of best NLEs. Basic, if the software stops playing when I zoom in or out in timeline, we have nothing to talk about anymore. And that is just a tip of an iceberg.

John KM/linhof: Beautiful video. My wife and I spent about a week in Dubrovnik in 1970 and this brings back memories of the former Yugoslavia. We drove and camped along the Adriatic highway as part of our 5-month European driving/camping tour. Split, also in Croatia, with its Diocletian palace and Pula with its Roman amphitheater both were open to public use at that time. I would love to repeat this experience and would take a Fuji GFX for stills.

John, they are all still open! ;)
Regards from Croatia!

mario toni: Okay, that's great! But, what did they sell? One state in America?! I mean, renting cars, accommodations, planes, food......Cost money! Either they sold something worth 100 millions of dollars or there's something else (I don't know what, really)! ;)

Yeah, but that film was about Japan and Italy... Not exactly a 3rd world. And they never said that they go only to 3rd world countries.

On article Canon EF 24-70mm f/4 L IS USM Preview (131 comments in total)

Canon went crazy with prices of the new lenses! For instance take a look at the price of 24-70 II or 70-200 II!!! C R A Z Y!!!
I bought Zeiss 21 Distagon and EF 70-200 2.8 (significant price drop for this beauty because of the new 70-200 II) and don't give s..t for the new money sucking lenses from Canon! I suspect that they are not better than the old series at all optically! HEH!
