Trevor, such sinister aircraft, almost alien-like in their appearance. The overall grey tone and heat haze adds to a fantastic compostion, well done.

BobT3218: Can anyone explain to me two things:
1. Why would one let the camera choose the focus point?
2. Having let the camera do the choosing, why would one need software to tell the photographer which point it chose?

1. Aside from (1) a single target focus setting my camera (Oly OM-D E-M1 MkII) also has (2) 5 targets cross-type (3) nine targets box (4) All targets. Auto focus systems will select the focus point based on sensor type and whatever algorithms are running in the background.

2. Putting it simply many photographers want to know how their camera works. Knowing which focus point the camera has chosen is an important consideration.

I hope this helps.
