    Thank you guys, I’m currently processing my biggest stack to date, 292 images of the honey bee.  Fingers crossed if it comes out ok, I’ll continue with a different angle :)

    More photo Stacking using HELICON and my wooden jig, slight improvements to cut down on vibrtions etc, made a flsh diffuser but didnt use it on this set..
  • The Insects are deceased that i find as I wander around.. I'm not that good yet to start on live creatures.. If you kill flies in your house with insecticide Spray they make great subjects :)

    Hey guys. I've just introduced myself to the group.. I built exactly that and it gives really good results.. I will at some point upgrade the slide rail to that of the double steel rail type.

  • Thanks guys. After using picture 3 as a desktop background at work I've just noticed the pincer like mouth parts... super creepy indeed.. Looking forward to trying some different techniques tonight.

  • Great shots, and its not all about the zoom either, with just one Macro lens (Raynox DCR 250) you can see things never possible at the other end of the spectrum :)
