GrapeJam: The biggest joke is that people still buy Apple products.

Problem with windows is windows update.
After I installed w10 I have spent 1 hour to remove all that junk (metro apps and more)
After one of the updates all that junk was back so I had to do everything one more.
And every now and than internet explorer makes a return.
I really don't like that windows is doing shi* behind my back

UllerellU: I need someone to explain this to me, what sense does a medium format sensor have if the image quality can not exceed a full frame sensor? A Sony A7III is noticeably less noisy at any ISO in the daytime scene, and in the night scene is a real shame, this is still the same if you equal the amount of px in the files. Higher resolution models like D850 or A7RII are superior too. I'm not talking about that I can not overcome the IQ of the sensors but FF is that it is below .... If we add to that the slow reading, the prices and the tañano. Seriously Fujifilm, dedicate your efforts to the hipster APSC, with your retro cameras without ergonomics, for this way of medium format you do not go well. I hope that the iso performance and the DR do not have anything in common .... With these scenes I can not assess it properly.

and GFX will always get more detail so you can trade that for more noise reduction if you really want that

Do you understand that GFX100 image has higher magnification ?
Upscale that 24mpix image from A7III to 100mpix or downscale GFX image to 24mpix than you will see real noise comparison.

Boss of Sony: I can't see the business sense in going to so much trouble to create a medium format camera but limit its appeal by making it so heavy and just a bit too expensive. Is IBIS really useful in a camera like this? Who is going to be shooting such a camera handheld at night? If this thing was basically just a box with a sensor in it, weight was under 1kg and price was under $3,000 with a kit lens, it would sell like hotcakes. Only Sony would do such a bold thing, I guess.

Another thing is that Fuji cameras work
Phase One cameras are known to have many bugs and little problems

If Nikon D5 can be as heavy with smaller sensor than I don't see a reason why this camera would not be.
I'm also sure that Fuji will release camera with same sensor but in much smaller body

Sensor alone costs probably more than 3000$

camedia1: "1.7X greater than full-frame." Does that mean 1.7X more in area or 2.7X the area?

Medium format is anything larger than fullframe and smaller than 4×5 inches (large format)

Why would you do that ?

For my landscapes I use 5:4 and with 4:3 sensor I could get more pixes than with 3:2 sensor that I use now.

Medium format was never wide

Even real people leave "fake" comments.
By fake I mean comments without meaning. "great shot", "amazing image" "some stupid emoji"
Few times I had "nice colors" comment on my black and white image.

So I could not care less about the state of instagram right now.
That Commenter founder Dimitri is laughing all the way to the bank.

that is more of a push , not a kick (and not even a strong push)
Like I said with AF as good on both cameras people should look at other stuff before buying.

Yes it is better. X-T30 is right behind a6400 in terms of AF and it will be good for most people. It's much better than anythingwe had last year or year before but we still managed to get things in focus so for me AF difference is not that much big of a deal since both do very good job. I look into other things before buying

Thanks for the chuckle guys.

Insane thing is that you can get such nice 4k quality with log, eterna and 200Mbit codec for 1000$

ProfHankD: Again, cool that Canon has finally entered the game, but this is far from being a new lowest-cost FF camera in its class: the A7 is $798 and A7II is $998.

And this new canon is also 4 years old if not more than that.
