Guy R: Why would anyone choose this over an X-T30?
Asking seriously.

If you can buy those lenses than you can buy ff body
FF lenses are crazy expensive

Fuji taking risk is a fresh thing

No "internet" is not only this forum
Xpro shooters are not sporty type

Horshack: Silly question perhaps but after flipping the main LCD open as depicted in the photo can the hinge then slide up the body so the main LCD is flush with the camera like a typical LCD, or is it only viewable at the 90 angle?

this is street camera
articulating displays make it twice as big and a bit thicker

X-Pro line does not sell that much compared to X-T line so the risk is not that high. Judging by the internet buch of people love that idea.

Horshack: Camera has no appeal for me but Fuji's deserves major kudos for continuing to think outside the box. Now they're even rethinking what the box is made of.

They are not stupid

panther fan: Fuji why remove the 33mm? And replace it by a useless 50mm?

Who wants a 75mm equiv?

For me personally 40 / 50 / 85 and 105 equiv are far more usefull. (Or 28 / 35 / 56 and 70). For none of these focal lengths Fuji has a fast (F1.4) prime with internal silent AF and weathersealing.

Where is your modern lens lineup Fuji?

what makes 75 useless ? it's just a number
going from 75 to 85 will not make your images instant hit

Androole: To think, they could have done this same dual-screen idea with a fully-articulated hinge mechanism (mounted on the top or bottom instead of the traditional way on the side), and then the users could have decided whether to use their cameras in a normal way with a fixed screen, like a waist-level viewfinder, or to indulge their escapist retro film-indicator-window fantasies, all with zero loss of functionality...

This is quite possibly the most effort I have seen put towards the least sensible idea.

as you can see there is a bump for second screen and fully articulated screen makes camera twice as big and you don't want that for street and a bit fat

Aaron801: I don't understand why a camera that isn't designed to be either tiny or very inexpensive wouldn't be made with a tiltable LCD? It seem like this should be stadard equipment...

Tilt lcd is faster to use and it is in center with camera. Tilt lcd from panasonic S1, s1r or some fuji cameras can be used in portait orientation

I do not want fully articulating screen on my camera

SmilerGrogan: Awesome lens, but let's think about whether it's really letting through an f/1.2 amount of light. Usually the maximum aperture of lenses is overstated by a quarter to a third of a stop. For instance, he new Canon 50mm f/1.2L measures at f/1.5. History tells us this one will be about the same.
So then it becomes a question of whether the lens is better overall than its f/1.4 competitors.

On the other hand, if you're doing forensics or espionage and need every bit of f/stop you can get, very few other choices. I bet whoever's in charge of keeping every square inch of London under surveillance 24 hours a day will buy them by the truckload.

f/1.2 is f/1.2
T stop is different thing.

People that will buy this lens care about dof not light

CekariYH: Now we only need more camera brands that can use those new cards, I know some brands already can but they are quite few atm.

BTW, I'm looking for a good brand 256GB SD-card with write-speed above 150-200 MB/s.
Does those exist as I can't find any?

UHS 2 cards can 300MB/s
Sony
Sandisk...

Sony 16-55 does not have stabilisation
