apiron: And it just took them 5 years to be competitive again, what a great company. Maybe they can fellate Apple for the inspiration?

Umm...is that "felicitate" ?

On article Review: Nikon D7500, speed and capability (532 comments in total)

I clicked on the compare mode and scrolled down to Sony. I found the mid-range 2011 Sony 77. It gets a higher score than the Nikon 7500 for video. Strangely, the newer and more capable Sony 77 Mark II does not appear in the "compare" list at all.

Why would that be?

On article Microsoft Lumia 950 camera review (122 comments in total)

The article states -

The 950 XL offers a larger screen, a more powerful Snapdragon 810 chip and a slightly larger battery, but the camera setup is essentially, apart from a front flash (identical to the 950's).

You need to take out the brackets after the word "flash" and replace it with a comma so that the sentence says what you meant it to say. As it is, the reader would surmise that the flash is identical to the 950's!

steviewa: I will stop using dpreview if it changes to the new beta style

Since you actually read the article , it would seem that this is an attempt at irony.

Correct?

Just what we need - another fuji sensor configuration that will produce raw files that will confound various raw processors.

I guess the failed experiment of the EXR sensor of my X10 (at least in terms of readable raw files) will be followed by yet another "out of the box" adventure that will provide users with lots of head scratching moments.

bawboh86: Are there any good accessories I can use with my Sony SLT-A77? I see Nikon and Canon mentioned, but not a lot on how to get some of the functionality out of my Sony.

Now this "threatening" feature sounds like a revolutionary development. I am trying to picture how it would work. "A77, if you don't take a great photo I am using my Nikon from now on. You better come through or else!"

ybizzle: Sent my old X10 to Fuji Canada to have the sensor replaced. They sent me a new X10 instead. No more orbs, just beautiful pictures! The best point and shoot just got better!

I also got a new camera from Fuji Canada. In fact, I was expecting it. It would seem less trouble than paying a technician to take out the old sensor (and whatever else) and put the new one in.
