I think it depends what kind of macrophotography you see yourself doing the most. For insects on flowers or plants, I would imagine more reach is better, so 90mm would be amazing for that.

I think there's also option of waiting for the rumored OM lens, maybe a 80-250 or something? Though when that's going to be released is anyone's guess, it could be just a rumor.

The good thing about old PC laptops is, that once the Windows stops working, you just clean entire drive and install Linux on it, and now you have laptop that still can do fun stuff.

This macro is great news. I've been looking for a macro lens that gives some extra distance on insects. 60mm was not cutting it, but the 90mm, especially if combined with some TC, might do the trick.
