Ricoh got it in the GRiii and made it smaller than the GRii, Fuji should be able get in the XPro-4 without a size and weight penalty.
-
Owned a GRii for years, and I'm on my second GRiii (1st one was stolen). No dust on any of them. And yes, I know what to shoot to test for it. Also the IBIS can be set up to shake at start up ...

I have both and the difference in size and weight is hard to fully appreciate until you start using them side-by-side. For me the X100V isn't a pocket camera. Sure it will fit, but as soon as you ...

Based on what I shoot - lots of night scenes and, well if I'm being honest, pub shots, I love IBIS!
-
Pancake lens + FF sensor + plus larger IBIS mechanism + battery to run it all = X100V-sized camera. Don't see that relating to the GR legacy all.
-
That is one of the intended functions of IBIS... Which is why they have a selectable setting for "Dust Removal" at start up and shut down.

I'm still convinced the weather resistance can be added without much of a size penalty. But if anyone wants more electronics, then Ricoh needs to address the battery life. Personally I have no ...

He tossed a few digs at the GRii when it was introduced, but with respect to the GRiii, I believe he has praised it all along.

No disagreement here. I just hope it's enough to keep the line going. I've have the X100V for a few weeks now and the tilting screen has been flipped up once or twice because it was new and ...

Fuji may have some odd ones, but Leica and Ricoh seem to go out of their way to make ridiculous versions of their base cameras.
-
When you find some time, please do. I've just read your other comment and it definitely provides some interesting food for thought.

I have to agree with this. I think the strong sales figures surprised them and with the camera market nowhere close to "normal", they may ride it out a bit. But they can't wait forever, the GRiii ...

Purely subjective I guess, but the first image posted seems too cool to me, with much pink highlights, and the skin tone seems flat, so maybe you're right and it is personal preference. (Edited - ...

(1) Ricoh GR I am a huge fan of the GR line and currently have a new a GRiii and a new X100V. I'm going to keep them both for awhile and then, try to force myself to keep only one. The ...

I just boxed my D700 all my lenses, the battery grip, and flash, and traded it to fund a smaller camera for the same reason. Loved that camera, but it was a beast.
-
I think it's fair to say that every camera maker's commercial interest is why we have any cameras at all...and Fuji is no different.
-
Gotta admit it was a bold decision on the part of Fuji...

What does sensor size have to do with in-camera jpeg processing? My last FF digital that I couldn't seem to let go, was my Nikon D700. And the reason I kept it for almost 15-years was because the ...
