  • No problem at all as long as you keep the shutter speed at 1/30 s or faster handholding the camera.
  • That's a nice story about the California Quail, I didn't know that. About the sharpness; I've experienced that in most cases the pictures of the ff cameras I owned are sharper than comparable ...
  • Hi Ali, thank you so much for sharing your pictures!! Although it is hard to judge from your pictures via the internet I think it's a close call between the first quail picture made with the M6 and ...
  • Created discussion thread Silent shutter of the original M
Besides the compactness there is another thing why I like the original EOS M; the (almost) silent shutter. I had the EOS M3 for a few months but sold it because of a few things I didn't liked, one ...
  • Size wise it is a nice lens but optically the EF-S 55-250 4.5/5.6 STM is a better choice if size and weight isn't a show stopper. The MFD of the 50-200 is a bit disappointing, another strong point ...

  • Don't get me wrong I've never encountered problems with Transcend cards but now there are some rumors about incompatibility with the mk4 I will avoid using them in this camera, just to be sure.... ...
  • Interesting. I do have Transcend cards but haven't used them in the mk4 yet. I will continue to use the Sandisk extreme pro cards in the camera during the next trip to Africa. The Transcend cards ...
  • The same here. I too noticed a conciderable shorter battery life on my mk IV compared to the mk III and the 7D mkII as well :-( Quite anoying since we visit places without power regularly.
  • No, I would not buy it again. I will stay with my EOS M mkI and will probably buy a spare M second hand. I don't like the user interface of the mkIII keep pushing buttons on the back of the camera ...
  • ;-) You know what I am talking about, thanks a lot!
  • Replied in Im sorry...
Well.... first I am not a photographer, only a user of Canon equipment. Second I don't like to dive in a menu to switch image stabilizing off. I it is just that I am used to the behavior of normal ...
  • Created discussion thread EOS M3 IS always active with EF lenses
it's so frustrating to notice that IS is always running when I use my M3 with EF lenses (attached via the original Canon EF-EFm adapter). I've searched through all the menus but couldn't find a ...
