@RubberDials Not to my eyes and obviously by your defense/argument in the posts prior, not to yours.
-
@MikeRan Yes, because it is Iso 64 vs 100...
-
@Rubberdials Just because the A1 doesn't offer 64 ISO does not negate that the Z 9 (which has ISO 64) has better visual dynamic range...
-
It's was never about mirrorless cameras being toys, it was that some mirrorless camera brands felt like toys... no one would ever confuse a Z9 with a toy.
-
At 94% overall score, I believe this may be the highest scoring camera DPReview has rated.
-
Nikon had it long before Olympus in the Nikon 1 cameras...
-
Congratulations to Nikon... well deserved!
-
Well, considering that Nikon recently introduced the best valued pro camera on the market with the Z9, and has now followed it up with the Z 800pf, which again sets a new bar in value…I think it’s...

Thanks for assuming you speak for all of us...

I think Gordon is in England, not the US...

The Nikon is at ISO 64 and the Sony is at ISO 100, what part of that do you not understand? They are both receiving the same exposure! Your lack of understanding the basics of the exposure triangle...
-
@spider-mario and MikeRan... The Nikon Z9 is not getting 2/3 more light, because the ISO is 64 for the Nikon and 100 for the Sony. Like Mike said, "don't let facts get in the way of a good story".

Why? The Z 58mm 0.95 is supposedly minimized for focus breathing and is manual focus.
-
Would Love to see one of these lenses compared to the Nikon 58mm 0.95! Chris, Jordan, reach out to Nikon please!!! That would be one heck of a shootout!
-
Beautiful Border Collie!…Anyone that has owned one understands how special these dogs are.
-
I have to wonder, why would you go with the headache of a 3rd party lens that has to use an adapter, when you have perfectly viable native lenses? The Z 24-120 comes to mind...excellent reviews and ...
-
Between the recent Z9, Z 100-400, Z 24-120 and now the (expected to be) class leading Z 400 TC... All the folks saying Nikon's R&D couldn't compete should be eating a nice slice of crow. I can...
-
Nobody said otherwise… you sure are expending a lot of energy on the Z forum defending F mount cameras and lenses when no one has said anything against them.

Was this a long exposure? The Data says 1/160 of a second, but the image definitely looks like you used an ND filter and a rather long exposure...was that the case? Beautiful image BTW!
