saltydogstudios: Am I the only one who hates Leica colors? Skin tones are either too magenta or too yellow with nothing in between.
I noticed this with the Leica SL2 as well. The photo of Jordan on the floor in particular. Why is half of his skin purple?

The transition from yellow-ish to purple-ish is abrupt and jarring.
This can be worked on from RAW in post, but it's not easy - I downloaded the sample photo and opened it in ACR and just small tweaks to the white balance settings led to major shifts in skin tone - getting something pleasing was difficult and fiddly.
I've been making a study of skin tones in cameras for a while (see link in profile) and to me Leica is by far the worst.
In the (p)review video I see this as well - the boat is reddish in the Olympus and magenta in the Leica photo.

True, though his arm not impacted by the red blob looks normal, right?

Probably a colorcast from the giant red floor..
$799 not bad.. oh $7,996.95 How many kidneys does a person really need?
David610: Go out earlier, stay out later ... heard that before, yes my wife tells me that.
Secret to a happy marriage.
Very nice! I have not been able figure out good spots up there yet.
I hope somebody has to upgrade and offloads their old one for like half price :D
I could use a dirt cheap second hand D3300 again. I think it would be better for my kids sports paired with my 70-200mm instead of my FX.
Its like the dude in Dark City is going through his old memories.
Brian D3300: After watching the clip I am convinced it will be a trailer for The Event Horizon 2. I'm happy with that.
I'm convinced whatever he found on the other side can give him the strength. He doesn't need eyes so he probably doesn't need other things as well :D

Astrotripper: Does it use Sony sensors?
No? Then it sucks and is not innovative enough for a serious user. That's why they dropped the prices. Scared of Sony. A7 III wins another battle.
🤣
Does it have a flux capacitor?
I am disappointed it is not some kid in an anteater suit.
It nice they have the skill to be able to create it. I came in thinking I would enjoy it a bit but maybe I'm just wired to not accept it being feasible so it didn't click for me.
This is Superman III all over again.
Very cool shots.
Marty4650: Rather than putting up some ugly fence that would ruin the view.... invisible laser rays could be installed.
At first, you set them to "stun" and if that doesn't work, you just turn it up to the kill setting. Naturally, an appropriate warning sign should be posted.
Why not install sharks with lasers in the surrounding waters?
How about an adapter for this guy to hook his phone up to his 800mm? It will cut back on the weight of the camera body buy using his phone instead.

Lots of great shots. I really like that Max Gor shot, very unique.
Time to reboot Red Dawn again.
Internet Enzyme: I like it, but i dont understand this trend with landscapes where people will use an ultra wide and then stuff the bottom third of the image with unnecessary compositional trash. I would have cropped this very differently.
Here’s my crop: https://imgur.com/TLkOGnc
I really like having the complete reflection of the sky in the original. That said if I had the chance to shoot that I would have been firing off hundreds of shots with many different compositions, ultrawide to up close. Probably a ton of great possibilities.
Techo: Young'uns these days ;) A desktop "app" is called an "application". No cool abbreviations. Even the creator of it says: "I'm releasing Windowed as a free application to help other photographers like myself, Happy Shooting folks!".
Well to be uber cool do not say "opinion" say "hot take". Of course you can't forget about how cooking pancakes is now called a "life hack" for making breakfast.
