kalpeshmodi: Its disappointing to see that reviewer's at DPREVIEW were unable to maintain focus on person riding bike and resulting in blurry out-of-focus pics, There are plenty of pictures on Pentax forum from actual K-1 owners here at DPREVIEW getting excellent results shooting variety of action sports.
It is easy to blame on equipment than honning skill to use the equipment with proper skill set.

Hello Simon Joinson,

My K3 focuses better in low light compared to my frds 6D and 5D MK3.....and I was surprised after checking this myself. I was using centre point AF. So I expect K1 to be better than K3 at least.
Check forum post by Berry Pearson and Mighty Mike....here. All that actual users can't be wrong in my opinion.
I agree on AF might be not fast compared to high end Canon or Nikon.

Cheers

That's the good one Kewlguy......

Maybe lens cap was still on the lens!!!!!!!!

Joke apart, they should re-evaluate the AF test one more time.. Check The Camera Stores review....

ttran88: The Samsung NX1 got 87% with a Gold award and it still failed. Cheer up pentaxian you have a great camera and any K mount shooter already knows it and doesn't need dpr's approval.

Agree

Focal length multiplier should be 1.0 and not 1.5. Maybe typo error.

kalpeshmodi: Pentax K3 easily beats D7200 in all aspects.

Hello Vesa1,

I have shoot with both cameras, and apart from AF(which is faster on D7200) K3 is best camera out their in the field.
Nikon has better flash system then Pentax but other areas, like handling, ergonomics, weather sealing, IQ etc etc....Pentax K3 is solid performer.

I hope you have tried K3.

Rishi,
I agree on AF. It might be little behind D7200 but for most of the shooters it is more than enough in my opinion.
I was talking about complete package. If you ever come out of Nikon/Canon syndrome you will notice it.

Thanks
