About me:
I started with a Praktica LTL in 1975 for long trip to Bolivia. Then Olympus OM1 followed by Canon A1. Going digital I found Canon had abandoned FD lenses, so I had to start again from scratch. Canon & Nikon bodies then were huge & heavy. Pentax offered small & light which I strongly prefer, especially for travel, and they still supported all M42 & K mount lenses. I was a long time happy Pentax user with LBA since my *ist DS in 2005. I loved the K10D and it went round the world quite a few times. So in Nov 2019 traded it all in for Nikon Z6 Mirrorless System. New brand and new technology. I was pretty sad to see the Pentax gear go, but was very happy to step into the modern world. |
