Searching: Can't find anywhere where this set is for sale?
Did you go their site or click the link above in the article?
BIOGONS: Could Nikon design an APS-C (DX) mirrorless camera? With what mount?
Panasonic and Olympus, please use PDAF in your new cameras!
SONY, Tamron, SIGMA, please design more APS-C E mount zooms!
The article says in the lower Pen and OMD models. A user only has the choice now of the 6 year old EM1 or the current EM1ii both just happened to be the most expensive cameras at their time...hmmm.
PDAF for Olympus Pen-F and OMD line cameras...and Panasonic too!!! That's just crazy talk!! Next you will be suggesting they should have 20 meg sensors!! How is Olympus supposed to make any money keeping these customers happy??? ;) :)
Ahhh finally...that explains the 6D2 ! :)
katastrofa: Where is Olympus E-M1 II?
It was released in 2016 I believe.
As soon as I noticed the Canon 6Dii wasn't on the list....I kept reading!! :) :)
Ahhhh...maybe that's what the 6D2 was actually made for... ;)
tkbslc: That's really weird given that this seems to be a new sensor and all the newer Canon sensors have had pretty good DR figures. 5D4, IDX II, 80D were all a huge step in the right direction. Now this one looks just like the older sensors based on 5D Mark II era tech.
It will be interesting to hear Canon explain the rationale behind this sensor versus the ones you listed above. As a potential buyer of the 6Dii I was hoping for similar improvement. I realized they would likely tweak it back below the Mark IV but I didn't think they would go this far. I will wait for more reviews but I can say I am disappointed.
beavertown: How does it compare to the Sony A7R II in dynamic range?
Follow the link to Bill Claffs site. The A7R II is there.
I thought the world was supposed to end when the blood moon happened? Truly this is the sign we were waiting for...
Looks like a nice camera. The space needle shot is an art filter shot for those not familiar with Olympus art filters.
