JNR's current gear

Pentax K-01
Pentax K-3
HD Pentax DA 55-300mm F4.0-5.8 ED WR
Excellent for low light shooting with quality VF loupe. No vibration issues.
Excellent in many ways, but minor shutter/vibration issue around 1/80th lowers rating. AF good for those who know how to use settings properly.
Great build for a consumer zoom, no glaring issues.
Pentax smc DA 16-45mm F4 ED AL
Pentax smc DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL WR
Pentax smc DA 21mm F3.2 AL Limited
Build problem when extended to 16mm and CA lower rating, otherwise excellent lens.
Good lens for bad weather, but falls short for general shooting (as would be expected).
Pentax smc DA 40mm F2.8 XS Lens
Pentax smc DA 50mm F1.8
Rokinon 14mm F2.8 IF ED MC
Bower version
Rokinon 85mm F1.4
Samyang 8mm F3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fisheye
Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM
Bell+Howell version
Good all the way to wide open, but lacks Pentax saturation and rendering.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5
Phase One Capture One Pro
Good for organizer, but no appreciable improvement since version 3. Now, 2nd rate, especially regarding Pentax coloration (only slightly better for Canon profiles).
Currently using version 9. Professional standard of the industry, especially so for color accuracy.
