The D810 should serve you well for your intended purposes. I love mine and have no need for a better portrait cam for which I use it.(I hardly do portraits). It is a great cam for multi purpose ...

Sorry! That was for the OP. Hadn't been back on DPreview for a bit.:-)

I was just waiting for somebody to ask why you had 1.7 exposure comp. Did you shoot all of your photos with that correction? Or is that just what you shoot normally?

Let us know how you like the Beacon ID. I have to get something for my Mavic 2 Pro and am studying the add on remote units.

As with my DSLR cams. I'm in the "buy once cry once" category. Your budget is more than enough for an Air 2S which I mainly fly now. But if you are into photos also and would like the ability to ...

I fly the Air 2s with the RC controller! Didn't want to have to use my Ipad mini with this one. When I bought it new I just ordered the RC controller also. It can be made to use outboard ...

O.K. Well, take it from me it is no weaker than any other Nikon camera. And I've owned and still own many. But, Good luck in your decision. :-)

I concur with Mr. Ferguson here. If you have not yet: you may want to try these settings. A1: Release, A2, Focus, A3 (2). You want to be on continuous auto focusing, preferrably "back button". It ...

I don't think my D810 is unique, but it doesn't have a plastic mount. We're talking Nikon Pro Cameras here. Do you have references for this statement? :-)

Take your time learning to fly and working the controls. Make sure you research and apply the settings to your drone in the area where you are going to fly.

Yes Sir, that would be correct.

You should have a setting where it will use both. The stronger of the two signals.
