Since you are used to the d610, getting the Z5 seems like a logical and economic option.

I think Sony is next to exit. The opportunity cost of not investing their R&D in other areas (smartphones, gaming, entertainment etc) is hard to overlook given the camera market contraction.
-
I hear you man... Same here. I agree with your assessment. The other day I watched this guy who analyzed the reasons behind the media coronavirus panic. Somewhat lengthy, but we've got time, being ...

Isn't Playstation part of Home Entertainment (which is one of those being spun off)?

No, clowns they are not. In fact, they laugh all the way to the bank as they sell out their "reviews" and "opinions" to the highest bidders. Which is currently Sony.

55-250 EF-S is an excellent lens that deserves to be mentioned.

Oh no! If Sony exits then the Northrups and Fro would have to find another vendor to sell out to.

It comes down to cultural traditions. Japan is known for its painstaking attention to quality. In Japanese culture making something excellent is a matter of pride, almost a religious calling.

I am interested and will consider purchasing the R5. My only dislike so far is the lack of body dials for selecting shooting modes (manual, aperture, shutter etc), AF settings and drive speed. ...

Great decision. I wonder if you could change the thread title before the Nortrups and Fro use it to further their relentless Nikon-hating YouTube campaigns.

Adding the Z50 sounds like a great idea. I spent some time with it in the store over the weekend and was very impressed. A highly polished, purposeful and useful product. (the only reason I didn't ...

He probably did. I personally stay away from gray market.

Can you share a link to where it can be bought at this price? Thanks.

Sorry for intruding into your conversation, but it's not a myth. This is indeed a factor when shooting narrow apertures. See, eg, the following demonstration:
