LOL, yes I wonder why Nikon didn't provide two internal TC's for just $ 500 extra. AFAIK nobody knows what 2 TC's do to the IQ. I don't even know if the required hollow space inside the lensmount ...

no manual = no prob https://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/products/589/Z_9.html You probably can have Chinese manual :-) https://panamoz.com/

Try it. The stacking process uses the sharpest parts in the stack it can find. So if you are after sharp fore- and back-ground that is what you want. If you want less sharpness in some area you can ...

Absolutely, and that surely sounds like another argument for FX ;-)

The extreme of this reasoning would be that a phone camera would be "better". And since nowadays you cannot buy a phone without camera you probably have got that already. Sorry, no reason for GAS ...
-
P.S. some of the movement, yawing (as opposed to pitch and roll in shipterms) at short distance and/or with a long lens would mean the camera would have to recalculate and correct the perspective. ...
-
Yes, that would be great. Then you can catch 2 eyeblinks of the subject in stead of just one! Anyways, apparently it can be done by firmware updates, also by Nikon.

I had good experience with the sticky focus, I even programmed the lenses with programmable button to that, I guess the sticky thing is best on something that does not change (too much) of shape. ...

Yes, and with the proper menu item enabled, you can see the focus points as well on the camera LCD/EVF. And OP, I did not see you tried the "sticky focus". The yellow square you get with pressing ...

From how close are you focusing? The aperture may have to be corected if close. That would be normal, but is not exactly flickering.

There are lots of other things, like in the menu a focus bias setting (if you can find that). That should be on 0, of course. Also some AF settings tend to favour closer by objects. We really need ...

Well, your Z body maybe duff, try another. Or show us some of the comparisons. Return it in case of continuing doubts.

Some people said you should not use IBIS (or VR I assume) with the camera on a tripod. Not that I expected it to be that noticable. Did you?

I expect compatible (Nikon)flashes to be in the Z9 manual. I got the SB-500, doing nearly all the flash tricks a Z7 can. And if you want more later, this one can be the a commander for multiple ...

If you are buying 2nd hand I would hold out for a 105 D DC. Manual AF due to the screwdriver AF. But it has CPU that otherwise got connected with the Z 6/7's. And I love the Z 105 MC: https://www.d ...

mmm, my SB500 leds failed. Hardly miss it though. Otherwise great flash.

LOL I offered several times US$ 100 for just for those Lens Display Windows in this forum, but Nikon never reacted.

My rings have clearly a thixotropic grease in them. I.e. you have to apply some force before the ring moves. And I assume that when the camera is powered off the ring ceases to adjust whatever it ...

The switch off is loud and clear in the manual. https://onlinemanual.nikonimglib.com/z7_z6/en/03_first_steps_04.html I usually change lenses at home. My Z's are remarkable dustfree. When outside ...

Yes, though I find the latitude numbers you mention abit much. Also the slidefilms were of a "harder" gradation than the negatives because for negatives you could increase the gradation in the ...
