No experience with Sony cameras but photorec or testdisk bypasses file formats too. May worth a try and it's free.

Placed 12th in the challenge. Found this Red Fox roaming and living somewhere around the creek near where I live where lots of land are cleared for housing developement. Considered a pest but I just find them absolutely beautiful and resilent and misunderstood.
A bit of history:
Foxes were introduced into Australia, for sporting purposes, in 1855 with most releases being around Melbourne.
Today foxes occur over 75% of Australia and their distribution is strongly linked with that of rabbits.

Placed 34th in the challenge. Was fortunate to get up close to a pair of nesting willie wagtails native to Australia. They forage beside a creek near where I live during last breeding season.
