pca7070: Very poor picture quality is to be expected.

Why pass judgement when you haven't seen the pictures? The samples looks good indeed, especially it looks very sharp at F2.

I wouldn't want to mess with this one even if I'm a bird.

Thanks alot for hosting the competition, it's really been fun looking at these weird and wonderful and sometimes annoying (when they eat up everything in the garden) creatures.

Brilliant, but I'll really like to know who gave a 0.5 vote to this.

I agree, quite a few entries didn't show or understand the effects of tilt-shift too. It can be presented in 2 extremes meaning either you have everything in focus (especially useful in macro jewellery photography) or selectively focusing a horizontal or vertical plane in the photo. But the main use of tilt-shift is not in blurring photos but to correct keystoning effect.

Superka: Will ever Canon remove those stupid "night shot", "portrait","Makro", "Flash off"????? Hey, Canon, people are experienced enough already, not to use them!

If you're such a 'purist' you should go back to film.

Alizarine: I am pretty sure many people will bash this camera. Because it's a Pentax.

...and I'm pretty sure my K-x will have a new companion haha.

This is the camera i always wish olympus would develop at this price point and functionality with their rather comprehensive weather sealed lens system. Pentax has hit the sweet spot

very nice quality, it sure looks crisp and clear at low iso. Just that I notice there seem to be some corner softness in the lenses use for some photos. The center is super sharp but deteriorates when your view move to the sides.

Jonathan McGee: For those of us with a non-micro 4/3'rds investment, I wonder how well the larger 4/3'rds lenses will balance on it. Is the 12-60 simply going to be an unwieldy beast?

12-60mm is not design for cdaf. But the 14-54mk2 is.

Kinematic Digit: I'm excited about this announcement. I hope still that they can get to F/2, but I guess to make this marketable and keep the price point down, the realistic number is F/2.8

If you look closely, the numberings are just stickers on the lens so there's a possibility final specs may change for the better... hopefully
