Nice set. Always enjoy seeing other parts of the world. Many similar scenes in Ohio (US). Enjoy your new lens.

Is the file you downloaded from Fuji a zip file? I know that is the format for at least one of their lens firmware updates.

Nothing to add - you said it all. Personally I’ve seen lots of eye-rolls over the last 53 years. Holding a lens when making a change evokes it almost every time 😳.

My X-T20 exhibits the same characteristic. (Owned for over 2 years). When I researched the issue, I found several reviews, etc. that commented it was somewhat common for the shutter button to ...

The Canon 15-85 is my favorite lens for most subjects. You may find it a bit slow for indoor photography without flash. Otherwise, the zoom range would work well for pics of family. FWIW, I use it ...

Really - burning hands and more noise from black cameras. Not sure the major manufacturers are aware of these issues.

FWIW, my first visit to the zoo was in the late 1950’s as a teenager. Look up Rosy - she was the zoos first elephant.
