About me:

All my life I ran after the things that were never meant for me, now in late 30s leaving everything behind and opting for my dream of becoming a professional movie maker as a director producer is a huge challenge for me and the height of stupidity for the people around me, the usual stuff :)

My entry level DSLR is my very first and key tool to proving myself that I AM CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING MY DREAM.

AussieBarb: I used this as my only DSLR lens for my Canon 7D on a recent cycling trip in China, no regrets, very versatile from close-ups to scenery. Best piece of glass I have ever brought. Focusing is spot on and sharp. (I also took a m/43 and high end compact too). This lens lets me create awesome pics and it means I won't be upgrading my 7D for another couple of years. I'll only upgrade when some radical new camera and/or technology comes out. The lens has breathed new into this camera and for now, I'm really happy with this combination as it produces surreal pics

:) Seriously buddy I do agree with you, this lens is a jewel. I got this for my Canon 650D/T4i and now instead of going for full frame like 6D I am waiting for 7D Mark II because I am seriously I believe that with this lens I dont need to fall for full frame trap :)

Ok for $450 its a pure hardcore RIP-OFF, the most reasonable price tag should be not more then $200 along with all the additional stuff.
