It is social media herd mentality. The reply probably had a single like, then everybody started liking it. I’m sure once the OP has a few likes, it likes will start to increase.

In hindsight, you should have jumped ship before purchasing the Z II body hoping there will be a firmware upgrade to bring its AF up to par with the competition’s mid/tier cameras. I got the Z6 ...

Better cameras will always result in better probability of having better shots (assuming other variables remain constant), whether in resolution/quality, speed, or autofocus. Even more rugged ...

With a more expensive Z6 II, you would theoretically have less funds to to go to those trips and your photos would instead consist of dogs and cats. Photos of dogs and cats are in general better imo.

I feel like the Audio/music was not matching the video and also too loud.

This single lens is causing all other lenses to just collect dust. It is great for indoors and outdoors, regardless of situations. All other focal lengths look unnatural after shooting at 50mm. ...

I thought the composition was fine, not your typical cookie-cutter bird shot where the background is generally monotonous blur and there is no environmental context present. The composition showed ...

Too busy, environmental shot, quite contrary to most bird photos that are solo portraits that have the iris of the bird in sharp focus reflecting the massive telescoping lens back. The dynamic ...

Agreed, some nerve the consumers have an opinion about a product in a free market.

Tamron doesn’t care for its customers and would not even update their “pro” 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to be compatible with Z. I would never buy a Tamron. My Sigma 20mm f1.4 Art is fantastic on Z.

I don’t have his z6 book. Looking at it online, it looks like it covers upto firmware 3.12, not the latest 3.4 (which has the animal af among other great af improvements). Is it still a worthwhile ...

I want to believe that I(as a photographer) have maxed out Z6’s capabilities (in terms of AF). I get 30-50% of action shots in sharp focus, so I just shoot twice to three times as much shots than ...

Indeed. I had the F mount 50mm f/1.8G, which was my primary lens. But I got the Z 1.8S lens, the old 50mm is literally collecting dust(along with my D600). This Z mount 50mm S lens is sharp wide ...

Thanks. She loves with play with twigs, mud, and rocks more so than the toys we purchase. In fact, she doesn’t care for any plastic or other puppy toys.

Thanks. AF was with Animal AF. Autofocus was continuous. Release focus mode.

If your z6 II gets closer to 80% of an active small puppy, then that is pretty good. I’m happy(content for now) with 50%(may be a bit lower) with the animal eye AF with my Z6. Any tips on ...
