Extraordinary pictures for 6mp. A real lesson in how to get ergonomics in a small, light body. Zeiss colours to an extent. Still does a very nice flower shot.
The Legend. Top ergonomics and spectacular lens quality, even today. 10mp holds it back for landscape, but still a top portrait, mid distance and street weapon. Still fun to use, even if you have no idea you nailed it till you get home, thanks to the appalling screen resolutions. Metering is excellent and top view finder is great for arm's length shooting or shooting cars "off the deck". Still my preference for shooting cars.
2020 and it still amazes. Got the STF for it and it just transcends anything I thought I was capable of. Absolutely hope it never breaks, replacements will be expensive and fiddly.

So I got something with a viewfinder for long legacy. Now for the tricky bit. First Impression. It's like an updated H2, whatever the limitations are, most of the bells and whistles are provided.
Nice idea but useless in full OZ sunshine. Phones are probably more legible. Images are good and there's some fun tech in there. Size is great, body looks ideal for tinkering with. Pass on it for outdoors, get something with a viewfinder..
Arguably Sony's best bang for buck camera. 16mp is just enough and sensor gives lively colour and decent render if your lens is up to it. Nice and compact with the Sony DT 35mm F1.8 on board, it's a cracking 52mm all-round combo. Crazy cheap now.

Just quietly soldiering on in the background. I'll stumble onto something with some real reach and acceptable Bokeh for it one day. Probably Araldite it on.
Simply mandatory for A-mount. MFD is a welcome bonus.
