tabloid: I was under the impression that USB3-C was the answer to the never ending cable jungle. (perhaps a 1 HDMI socket is ok as well for my freeview...lol)
I would have thought that 3 USB-C sockets is all that one needs, as one can get a cable with a normal USB, thunderbolt at one end and USB-C at the other end if needed.

Maybe I’m wrong…but all the new external drives are coming out with USB-C not thunderbolt.
Also a drive with thunderbolt seems to be much more expensive than a drive with USB-C.

Most certainly need one shoe fits all.

same physical connector, but not the same thing

a USB-C port is not necessarily a TB3 port

I would have preferred to see at least two TB3 ports

DElliott: Corrections to preview:
1) The G5 also had a 3:2 aspect ratio LCD, rather than 4:3 as stated.
2) The G6's battery is 1200 mAh (same as G5), rather than 1000 mAh.
3) The G5 also had the GH2 sensor, while the preview implies otherwise.

glad to hear about the battery! 1000mAh is not enough

Fredy Ross: How can you do a prefiew when you don't know if there is image stabilization or not? You have written unknown.

it's a silly mistake in the table, but we all know there is no stabilization as this is a Panasonic camera and they put that in the lenses instead

Lea5: I don't know why people complain about the price. A simple Hasselblad HCD 4-5.6/35-90 mm Zoom lens which is made by Fuji, cost 6.300 Euro. A Canon CN-E14.5–60mm T2.6 L, cost 45.000 USD. Nobody complains about the price here, but hey it's Leica, it needs to be bashed.

4k video resolution (8-12mp) is less than typical stills resolution of current cameras. but yeah, all the Leica stuff is way expensive
