I am not trolling. That content is inflammatory. That's all. If you think I am wrong. Read the comments :p

Just because he was holding a camera does not make him a photographer. Reckless moron gets hit by rally car and is lucky to get away alive. If rally drivers risk their lives, there is no reason to throw your own in the equation.

Don't these people now an iPhone is all you need? It has to be the latest model. That's all. Nobody shoots movies any more with this antiquated big and heavy stuff.

Lets not forget... Again how American government is having nice logic that it is bad if others are spying them, but it is just good to if US is spying everyone else....

How about moral rule "It is evil to spy others, so let's not do that!"?

Don't do others that you don't accept others to do to you....

Except for Edward Snowden :p

Because of the NSA foreign governments are free to spy on America. Maybe they can take over so you you'll be free of the dreaded NSA. See how you like life under the lovely communist party or jolly fellow Putin. Your president sucks so hard any oppressive dictatorship is preferable to the American nightmare. Freedoms are overrated anyway. We like people to tell us what to do what to be and what to think. Free thinking is dangerous.

On article Canon patents fingerprint reader for cameras and lenses (192 comments in total)

What creative use is this? Slow down your shooting waiting for the camera to recognize your prints? O darn you have to activate the lens too! Want to change a battery quickly? Have to do it all over.

ozturert: 250USD? Horribly small sensor, really bad image quality, 3-hour battery life...
Should probably cost 50USD at most.

Just wait for the Chinese rip off then, complete with snooping loophole for the communist party.

Edmond Leung: Not natural. Looks like in-camera over sharpening. Noise control on the background is terrible.

So now he is all b'hurt, but guess who started with name calling. First fanboy and then idiot. That still does not improve the ISO and even more importantly the DR capabilities of the Canon sensors.

Very incomplete list and out dated. There are many more lens manufacturers beginning with Sigma. But also more recent Players like Meyer Optik, Irix, Meike, Yongnou and those are just of the top of my head. A lot of these camera manufacturers have not produced a camera in years and I doubt of some of them even exist any more. Apart from Pentax, JKimaging/Kodak is also missing and I am sure there are more like the Indonesian manufacturer of compact camera's for Most large photography brands.
