Hi all, i recently bought the tamron 70-180mm f2.8 for my A7R 3. for wide angle and mid range i opt for the Sony 24mm and 55mm. Would this be a good choice or are other combo’s like the Sony 20mm ...

I had the same issues with my version of this lens. Not that much dust as you show here, but it was definitly present after 1 to 2 months of use. I sold my Sigma. Not because of the dust but ...

That”s exactly why it should be created. If we don”t do the things we think that are not possible we would still be walking around and live in caves.

The sky is somewhat too dramatic imo... Be careful in post processing, but it depends of course what you have in mind with it..

If you had the 40mm like i do, would you add the 20 or 24mm ?
-
The 20mm is effectice closer to 19mm i believe. The rendering of the 20 and 24mm are both spectecular from the images i’ve seen sofar. I always enjoy the reviews of Albert Dros and Martijn Kort. ...

Where i live the only star is Max Verstappen , so the 20mm is useless in that respect :-) thnx for your advice anyway. As i already own the batis 40mm , the 24mm seems more logical than the 35mm option

I currently have to the Batis CF 40mm and Batis 85mm. I think the 24mm is more allround than the 20mm. If I really want a wide angle for architecture the Batis 18mm is also tempting, but requires a ...

Thnx, i forgot that site. It's always full of useful info. In that forum someone says the Sony FE 20mm 1.8 is more close to 18 / 19mm and comparable with the Batis 18mm in terms of field of view. ...

I think i rent both lenses for a day to compare them.

Hi Karen, I owned the Sony 16-35mm 2.8 GM. It's a great lens with great image quality. It fits the A7 high megapixel camera's perfect. I sold it and switched to primes because of a few reasons : 1. ...

Still have to compare both lenses physically but I wonder if there's someone who owns both lenses and can tell something about the differences in terms of field of view, rendering etc and can ...

Unless you need 4 seats i would consider the 718 Spyder. Not that i own that car but when you have mountains in your area the sound of that car is unbeatable :-)

I received the kase wolferine 67mm kit today. I update my user experience later.
-
i didn’t mean it that way. I am thankful for your advice and the Kase system is looking promising. I certainly will do a comparison and decide after it if i sell my Nisi system.
-
Yep , the batis 25 and sony 24 both have the 67mm filterthread, just like the 85mm and 40mm. This makes the lightweight Kase Wolverine screw on filters attractive (although i am not convinced yet ...

Thnx for your comment. The 20, 40, 85 combo seems most logical for me also but i really appreciate other opinions.

thnx for your reply. You mean that the angle of view of the 24mm is not comparable with the 40mm at all ? Or better said : complementary to the 40mm ?

I am planning to sell my Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 and switch to the Batis CF 40mm. The sigma is a great zoomlens but its heavy compared to several primes. i already own the Batis 85mm which is my ...
