Fotoni: About 36 MP does not mean good quality for 8K because displays actually have pixels for each primary colors, but over 99% of consumer level camera pixels have 50% green, 25% red and 25% blue. This means that 8K displays have about 106 MP vs camera 36 MP. You can do the math, how much fake interpolated color there will be. That is why healthy over-resolution is needed to get more color data for downsizing. Very good 4K video cameras have at least double resolution available for downsizing. This would mean that 8K camera needs about 72 MP for good quality 8K video. Good luck doing that at 30 fps, Canon.

So no Bayer sensor camera has good color except in small file sizes for oversampling, or what are you saying? Given Canon is known for amazing color science it sounds like you might be confused.
