Exactly! Even with my D3/D700 years and years ago I managed to make it work with some 1.8 lenses, haha. Well I love f/4 lenses too, I must be mad!!!

Offering 1.8 and 1.2 options makes a whole lot more sense than offering all 1.8, 1.4 and 1.2 or just offering 1.8 and 1.4.

It's not us touting the iPad as a replacement computer are we?? If your memory is good enough Apple did just that some generations ago.
