  • I do not use a UV filter. I do use a lens hood. I have experience (non Leica) with filters degrading images. Filters only go on the lens when needed, e.g. polarizing filter.
  • Then I'm confused.  Get a USB-C to USB cable and use your disks?. What's the problem?
  • Are you using Preview in full screen mode? I think it is different in full screen vs a normal window.  I think full screen makes a new desktop, too.
