Will depend mostly on what you will be shooting. I'm building a wedding kit consisting out of two S1 camera's with the following 3 lenses: - S 24-105mm f4 - S 70-200mm f4 - S 50mm f1.8 Will likely ...

You can find a disassembly video for the S1, maybe it is similar to the S5. It looks like there are hidden screws behind the rubbers. Good luck with it.

Can happen. Contact seller, they should be able to exchange it. If needed, you can shoot the wedding with this camera. It is just a LCD defect and not the sensor / processor / etc.

I bought myself an original second hand online at mpb.com

I guess with Sigma glass it works great. I had some problems with Tamron adapted glass. Only AF-S, no AF-C. I bought the Viltrox EF-L to replace the Sigma adapter and it has 2 modes: adapter-mode ...

I think for mirrorless lenses there is no possibility to attach them to different brands. If you want to do that, I suggest you invest in (second hand) EF lenses. They are almost portable to every ...

I hope it will come. There is a place for a simple full frame without double card slot, ibis, etc. It will be a bit like a full-frame R10. Yet since the R10 is about €1000 over here, I guess the ...

You can still get the RP for around €1000 or less new. I'm sure they'll make a full frame R10 like camera at some point, but will be indeed around R7 price point.
-
Seen second hand prices around €1600-€1800 for a R6, while the R6ii new is almost €3000 over here.
-
Maybe it is just a coil of the voltage regulator inside making noise. Sure it was not there before the fall?
-
Didn't see any other obvious improvements coming from 1.01. Hope they will release v1.2 with some improvements from the R6ii.
-
Indeed, most likely the R5 will get an update next year for this reason. A 3-year update cycle seems reasonable.
-
Panasonic next camera should have some kind of PDAF (in combination with DFD) to stay relevant against Canon/Sony/Nikon/Fuji. I hoped it would already be in the GH6, but hopefully it will be in ...

While the megapixel race between R6ii and A7IV is lost, the R6ii wins on all other fronts (fps, no crop 4k60, rolling shutter, etc) People that buy in this price range look further then only ...
-
That was just a mirrorless 5DIV baby they tried. The update is called the R5 / R6. Makes no sense to create a R successor with top LCD and touch bar below R5 / R6 :-P But still hope for a RP ...
-
Yeah that US pricing is different from EU. Over here the R7 is €1.519 (incl tax) and the R6II €2.929 (incl tax), so the difference is bigger. But was able to get the R7 for €1.250 (incl tax), so ...
-
The R6 II seems to have even newer features and an updated AF compared to the R7 at the moment (maybe the R7 will receive some of these with a firmware update). If you don't need the crop or 32mp ...

Well controlled rolling shutter and 40fps electronic shutter. Better AF, bigger buffer, etc. Nice upgrade when doing sport/wildlife/etc.
-
Before someone asks, not a stacked or BSI sensor (as was to be expected). Looks to me a nice upgrade if you are planning to do a lot of hybrid work.

Looks like still 3 dials to me. The lever (that is part of the dail) is used for on/off/lock and the dail is separate. However doubt you can operate the lever with one hand.
