snapa im not sure youve owned any Leica, theres a joy to owning and using Leica its not just about the final image. Also not everyone is skint and they like owning fine equipment, Ive a GFX100 and 100S, ive probably got 15-20 years left, why not own thrilling expensive gear?

Can this print from GFX100 and GFX100S? I’m serious they are the ones I have.

tkbslc: Instax is such a low resolution film, I don't know why you'd want to do digital prints on it. Makes no sense.

These prints are better than you think. It’s been the best instant product for years

This is great. Why bother with instant cameras when you can shoot a phone and use this. Much prefer this format over instax mini

plantdoc: Somewhat more expensive but far less expensive to print is the Canon 4 x 6 dyesub printer. High quality prints with various print options. Not as small of course.
Greg

I’d expect the canon ones to fade a lot quicker. I’ve Fuji wide instant photos from years ago still look great

art99: If it has to have M mount then it should be FF. I want my my Elmarit 28 to act like a wide and not a normal. Too pricey for that aps-c format especially for just the body.
Nice design though.

Deep when you explore gfx files it really blows you away, you stop just looking at pictures full size, you can dive in them and look anywhere for crisp details, a full length model you can see past razor sharp eyelashes to veins in the eye and is she wearing contact lenses? Remember the bit in blade runner where Ford does extreme pixel peeping in the photo looking for clues? That’s the future and it’s fun. I’m from the film days and anything less than 35mm failed, same now it’s the standard and rightly so.

Michael don't know where you get that from, canons M series has been neglected for years, fuji X seems stale they only have the existing fan base now. Apsc only exists because they couldn't economically produce full frame at the start of the technology, with smaller cameras and cheaper sensors it seems a masochistic act to not buy full frame. Olympus m43 is slightly different, you are going all in on a smaller sensor and you can put a case for the benefits if that.

incorrect fujirumors list minor bug fixes as part of the update :-)

Unless you’re cynical like me and think it’s all about fixing bugs behind the cover of something else

Razor512: Nikon needs to make a Z9.5 and give it a 100+ megapixel medium format sensor. This is especially needed for sports and wildlife where cropping is a little more common.

Razor well you're coming up with a specific situation with small fast moving subjects. I shoot erotica with models ive lots of time to think and frame, I'd see it as personal failure if I had to crop much :-)

Exkurogane is right, to take wider than needed and habitually cropping in is awful technique. Panoramas are completely different you can’t buy sensors that size

Oh good grief, okay :
Amongst enthusiasts who are interested in Leica and the M mount system, who wouldn’t want to add a bit more and buy a used Leica instead?
If you’re into the M mount system, a couple of grand more is absolutely nothing.

SteveB22: Are we really supposed to get excited about a dual pivoting rear display? How about autofocus tracking?

Photographylover. Yes fully get that, but I think you are completely underestimating how much some of us really do detest fold out floppy screens, I have one on Olympus cameras, I actually never ever use it, I’d prefer to strain my neck a bit than unfolding that wretched ugly awkward hideous vile flap of cr4p. Of course twice as many pixels as the R3 is a nice secondary bonus 😊

Goactive wow im shooting 61-102mp and hungry for more. You must never explore files, we have expectations either end of the scale!

Georgescanvas: So it has a pivoting screen which hinges on at least 3 sides. Still not as simple and fluid as fully articulating. I really wonder why manufacturers create solutions to problems that don't exist. The tilt-out screens with those extension struts are mechanically awkward. More moving parts, more chance of component failure, and very tedious to keep clean after using it in the elements. I think Nikon missed a big opportunity in omitting fully articulating screens in their z6/7 line. They would have shifted alot more units.

I can't stand fold out articulating screens

janiblue: I honestly believe that Nikon photography must WAKE UP IMMEDIATELY if they want to stay seriously in this game.
I am a Nikon owner since Nikkormat film camera of the 70s and feel sorry for its poor management's wrong decisions since the electronic era.
At around 2014 their mirrorless experiment of 1 inch sensor was bound to be a disaster because they grossly miscalculated ( and did not believe) in the success of mirrorless cameras. That is when they should have gone to a mirrorless APSC size sensor . UNFORTUNATELY today from being amongst the leaders are struggling to keep up with competition and IF they do not do something drastic Nikon will pass in the history of ex fine camera leaders,
I say all these being still a concerned owner of a D750 Nikon BUT I WANT Rich alternatives and imaginative variety to my D7000 and D750...esle tell me my choices...My strict article reflects the true story of this excellent brand, provocative to do lots OF IMMEDIATE INNOVATING work.

I dont understand what this comment is on about there's nothing wrong with nikon apart from a bland lens range (2.8 trinity excepted) they have always handled better, its just choice, my sony GM primes are the best but sony cameras don't handle well, and canon are dependable but camera design is generally a little boring and expensive. Fuji are based around the increasingly obsolete apsc sensor. I wouldnt say nikon is worse than rivals

The screen is awesome, i would go nikon over canon for the screen alone

Great screen. Absolutely loathe the trend for fold out screens
