Dengue3: Typically a "brace" would be two lenses.
Nothing "typical" about it - the definition of a brace is a pair.
Calling three lenses a brace is just wrong, not atypical :-)

I'm surprised the comments have been rather tame :-)
Perhaps One has One's minions delete them ?
Thanks for an interesting article.
Bemused, but not overly surprised, that there are a few denigrating your efforts ;-)

Nothing like being told of the fragility of the earth's ecosystem from someone who seems hell bent on ruining it :-)
I wonder how large his carbon footprint is ?
Banderras: Isn't it supposed to be the top of the line camera with all the bells and whistles at that price? And yet you have to pay for something that could obviously be included at launch.

Paul JM: Seriously rubbish photos. Virtually nothing to demonstrate the lens bokeh

Why don't you buy MF for the bokeh of the lenses ?
tangbunna: hey you can opt for IBIS just add 700$ more.
@2joea7r2
An unfortunate user name choice, given your current camera :-)
Surely Canon won't release a body with IBIS - after all only in lens IS is any good - I've heard that from so many Canon users it must be true ;-)

The new large 50 f1.2 is internally staibilised - how ?
Why is that better in so many ways ?
Fastguitars: Well lets see. The Sensor is found in "older" models, and the Viewfinder is not new, and not very good.
Yep, thats a $3000 camera.
Enjoy it.
@wallybipster

Wu Jiaqiu: nice lens for sure....but white. Looking forward to seeing some images from it
The EM1x is, I believe, the only camera specifically optimised for just such subjects. Pull on your anorak, grab your thermos and note book and put down about 10 grand for the lens and body and you'll be the envy of all those socially well adjusted individuals you see at train stations,
