*Shut up and take my money* :)
faterikcartman: I just closed my eyes in the middle of the demo vid and was transported back to a 1980's movie soundtrack. Tangerine Dresm?
hahaha, didn't notice that :)

I also like the soundtrack, but never heard it before.
You can find it in info about video (cklick "show more") it if you watch video on youtube site. :)

bed bug: I don't understand, is 1200mm the focal length, or the length of the damn lens?
hehehe )
nice idea for challenge! best regards :)
prodz: I'm too old for that new color scheme! :)))
dark is better for photos and no fancy schmancy bright light scheme will change my oldfashion mind, pffffuuu :))))
just keep both scheme so that we could choose.
P.S. dark scheme is dpreview recognizable look so when I see "dark" homepage I automaticaly know that this is dpreview. with that "light" scheme it looks like many other sites.
other sites are other sites and i don't complain about them couz I get used to it. from your list I visit only 500px and youtube but for photo sites i prefer black or grey backround colour.
I get used black scheme on this site. that is all :)
have a good light. cheers :)

GarysInSoCal: I'd like to bich-slap the 27 morons who said they've already had this camera... when it won't even be available until later next month... :D
hahaha me too!
nafik: I’m going to wait until all the quality control problems are solved. Too many people have been burned with having to send brand new products back to Nikon for fixes of things that should have been caught before shipping. Nikon is not known for admitting and quickly resolving QC problems.
It would be fun if no one buys D500 for that reason, and then Nikon stop the development and update of this camera :)
congrats! great image!
great photo!!!
don't get me wrong but if you stated 1/4000 then don't acepted this high flash speed photography.
it's not fair to other who didn't use strobe... title said 1/4000 or faster.
Or change rules of the challenge...
Peterski: Thanks all for the votes. Thanks prodz and barb_s.
