Bambi24: "police are trigger happy"

You'd be too if every lunatic walked around with a gun, able to take your life in a split second.

Don't point cameras at cops in the middle of the night -> you won't get shot.

"Don't point cameras at cops in the middle of the night -> you won't get shot"..
Unfortunately, that's not true if you're an African American.

T bird: Very nice. I really enjoy taking bird photos and one of the reasons is that I hope to get photos like this. Loads of character!

Thanks. I'm amazed I didn't notice the typo in the title though.

HarryLally: Just to point out a typo in line 4 of the final para of the updated review: 'received' not 'recieved'.

Hmm. Calling someone a "Grammar Nazi" doesn't give the impression that "DPR are always appreciative.....etc".
Also, I would have thought it would be "Spelling Nazi". Maybe that makes me "Logic Nazi" and/or a "Courtesy Nazi".

Mirrorless Crusader: This is nothing special at all. All they did was make a stop-motion video out of long exposures taken at sixty-second intervals so that you see roughly an hour of time elapse per second. Anybody who's rich enough could do that with barely any skill at all.

Anyone could do it!!! Just like anyone can play the flute - you just blow in one end and move your fingers on the outside.

Mike Sivcevic: Adobe is screwing Australian customers yet again. LR5 costs $149 on the US site and $186 on Australian site. Same product, same server, same credit card gateway, 25% difference.

They've constantly been screwing us up, most notably with the CS6 that is about twice the price here comparing to the US pricing. It is cheaper to board the plane, fly from Australia to USA, buy a boxed copy in store and fly back.

Greedy corporate morons!

To Eddirp. Good of Adobe to make allowance for the minimum wage. Presumably they sell it for $1 a copy in India.

Mostly Lurking: There are no rules in composition, only the good and bad.

This is simply untrue. No-one is saying these rules apply in every case, but they are a good starting point, particularly for beginners.
