BackToNature1: Panasonic Lumix GH6 we know is coming, what I want to know, will there also soon ben an G9 replacement soon after? I fully expect Nikon and Canon to release APS-C aimed at the high end an which delivers Big for birders like myself.
So I would hope that both Panasonic or OM Digital Solutions upcoming models will fend that off. The biggest draw to me about MFT is the 2x Crop. All this talk about weight, not so much.
+1
jcr4486: just to Alert that in little more than a week Intel will annouce a new CPU generation that is a major jump this time and require a new motherboard LGA1700 that should stay for a few years... and DDR5 ... so in my opinion might justify the little wait... and DRP could wait before releasing this guide...
please note that is not a matter of something new always to come, is a matter on something that is little more than a week away, that once announced will make prices of currently solutions to drop, this is a alert and a recommendation from me as a informed person... new solution will come later on of course but minor update every 6 months to a year and major ones takes several years and we are talking on a major update here, new socket, DDR5, PCIe5, this is what is called a new "node" a major jump in technology,... more cores, and different, now you will have what is called hybrid architecture a first for desktops.. P cores and E cores..., with a significant jump in performance over competitors, something not seen for some time, believe me... we are talking of waiting just a few days..., it's just for you to be prepared for the news and not regret later to have purchased something old tech that will stay for a while at home... when you could search and buy really new tech

jcr4486: Don said during the video that have used Panasonic GX9 and even placed the same on text later on over the video, but that is not completely correct, as the camera I have seen on video more time was Panasonic G9, do not know why he ignored this...
People who know the cameras can easily confirm this, G9 is a very different and much more powerfull camera than the GX9, I know that is just a letter...but really very different cameras, even if from same system and same manufacturer.
I believe that is important to refer that as you are misleading your viewers.
Nevertheless, great work on your website, for sure I will follow it
Ah! Forgot that one with top display, you are right, sorry, from a distance they are quite similar in many angles...nevertheless I still think you should have mentioned that camera as well and not only mention the GX9 as S1R is the one we see more time during this video, just my opinion.

jcr4486: Even if I love LR, I will not move to CC or CC classic, ever !
I think was a bad decision from Adove and I know a ot people thiking like me, going to loose lots of cutomer...
I do not use photoshop and I shot digital for the past 17 years... 4tb of photos... am not putting these on the cloud...
I have no doubt on the number of subscrivers, but i also believe on the standalone version, similarly to MS Office, I do not have and do not want to have the cloud base version.
I must say that I have worked for 25 years on the IT industry and I know thousands (literally) users and I do not know a single one that opts for the cloud based version of MS Office, it's a matter of principle.(but I also understand why the brands want to have this model, it's pretty obvious) e simply do not agree and we opt not to use these versions, but is more and more common... at a different comparison level, the fact that majority of americans voted for Trump, does not means that we all need to agree and take it as only option...(neither that means the right choice, despite millions selected it...) ...I just believe strongly that Adobe should keep both options, standalone and cloud

FrankS009: Speaking of late reviews, what about the Panasonic G6? It was introduced a year ago, and has not had a full review yet. Perhaps DPR is waiting for its replacement.
The G6 weights half of the D610, has an articulated screen, and its lenses are half the size and weight too. There is a purpose for every camera, but the difference between full frame and micro-4/3rds IQ is getting small enough that for practical purposes most people don't need to spend the extra money or lug the extra weight. The revolution has truly taken place.

I was exactly thinking on the same !
Where is the G6 review ? I really miss that one.
