Yes, there were problems with geotagging and EXIF details dropping off the image page after the transition, but these seem to have been fixed and I found Flickr's customer service to have been friendly and responsive, allowing for the magnitude of the changeover operation.

Also I think it helps to be polite and not adopt a smartass attitude you see in some of the comments here.

Do you mean "challenger"?

I love you guys, but seriously, you've gotta start proofing your headlines... too many typos lately.

"gotta"?

hectorpatrick: It is significant that of the eight images that Allison posted only one was with the Pixel3 and when you look at it you can see why. Current smartphone cameras are OK for photographing your pizza or taking a selfie in front of some famous landmark rather than actually looking at it, but a Ricoh GR III or a Sony RX100 V, which are as pocketable and as discreet as the average shiny smartphone, will take much better images.

The blown out highlights, the comparative lack of DR and contrast, for starters.

A quantum leap? The smallest measureable change? If so then I'm disappointed!

Goodluck with you back with this pack. Sorry, but if you intend to use the pack intensively or on hot days, it will suck up all you sweat and/or intensely load the wrong parts of your back and shoulders.

Unfortunately, still no camera backpack with a proper frame, proper ventilation, proper support/shock absorption and a nice city/urban/utilitarian design at the same time.

Agreed, which is why I use a Deuter 25L backpack with a Billingham Hadley camera insert in the main compartment - a proper hiking pack combined with good camera protection.

Prognathous: Why would you pick a bag of this form factor and not a sling bag with similar capacity? It's not difficult to find a sling bag that has almost none of the cons listed for the Domke.

Agreed - like the Billingham Hadley series, with no sharp metal hooks to scratch kit or clink on the move, no velcro closures to rasp as they are opened, more comfortable to carry with a decent shoulder pad and better made and better looking.

"are unhappy that Panasonic hasn't doubled down on some of the GX8's unique features"? Surely you meant 'doubled up", in other words increased the feature set, rather than halved it?

On article Hello Lightroom CC: Embracing the future (505 comments in total)

Can anyone confirm that at the end of the Lightroom Classic seven day trial period (I accidently 'upgraded') I can revert back to LR 6.12?

And, Rishi, you accuse one of the posters here of petulance, but the increasingly tetchy nature of your own replies indicates that you have lost the argument - time for you to move on perhaps.

You have condoned it by publishing the video, and thereby encouraged copycatting like the idiot suggesting that someone should try it with a plane landing at an airport.

On article Corel releases Service Pack 2 for PaintShop Pro X4 (28 comments in total)

Except if you try using the Export>JPEG Optimiser, which causes the programme to freeze, at least on a 32 bit Win 7 quad core machine. So far, Corel's support suggestions have failed to produce a successful result. This is the first time I've had this problem, having use PSP8 onwards over the years.
