I don't have an answer to that question but wanted to know, does the RP have that same issue or not? Anybody know?

I am interested in using focus stacking (and I do not mean that it has to be done all in-camera) for landscape purposes and there are cases where I do not have my tripod and wish to use focus ...

I did not mention earlier but this was a rental and I am kicking myself for not getting insurance on it (lesson learned). I just wanted to brace myself for what they will charge me for fixing it. ...

Ha ha. I was shooting a waterfall and stepped away from the tripod for a moment and then saw it slowly tip over and make direct contact with a rock. It had gained some good momentum I might add.

Anyone have an approximate estimate of what it would cost to fix the body damage on this Z6? The camera is fully functional, so the repair would be for the body damage. Thanks!

Do we know for sure it is a constant F4 lens?
-
Yeah, versatile would be best. I rented both cameras a while back and here is a thread I started based on that. has some good info in it, just remember it is in a Canon forum so it might be a bit ...

Yeah, I have the same concerns about the weight. I think I would be just as happy with the newer, albeit slower, 24-105mm f/4-7.1 weighing in at 395 grams. I know its not as good in the corners but ...

What type of photography will you use this camera for? (sports, portraits, travel, landscape...)
-
Not to derail the OPs questions, but I had one as well. I know a tripod is highly recommended for focus shift but I could see some uses for handheld landscapes. The problem is, after I frame and ...

Looking for a budget landscape camera body for at or under say $1200 USD. Was contemplating finally moving to FF but high end APS-C is another option. Looking for a starter lens of high quality in ...

It also has a 1M dot touch screen versus 2M. Also, the latest specs on NR state it has 4.5 FPS which is slower than the RP's 5 FPS. It will still have a much better EVF, IBIS, and dynamic range (I ...

Yeah, I have that lens and its a good one. If it was at least as good or better, that would be very nice...

I would commit to the M system if they did have a standard zoom of the same quality that the 11-22 possesses. So I echo that sentiment.

I am curious as to why the Nikon Z6 was ruled out? Was it primarily due to the resolution? 30 vs 25?
-
Do we know how the 24-200 compares to the Z 24-70 F4 ?
-
Very strange as it is available on the RP but NOT the R. And the comparison table is comparing against the R. That is a major bummer as I was hoping to get the R when it came down in price. Maybe ...
-
Isn't that already available for the R and RP? Or is it somehow different?
-
Yeah that Nikon 24-70 F4 would cover over 80% of what FLs I normally shoot at. I could always supplement down the road with a prime to go wider and one for longer (maybe). And it seems to be ...
