The real tragic thing is Windoze 11. Once everybody is forced to "use" it the nightmare will begin.

Mac might be a necessity for many, which is not a bad thing at all. 3K-4K, who cares. Good stuff from Apple.

After having 5 different 1D(s) bodies, this form factor will be excellent. Very useful in any amateur/pro type work and smaller but still very useful.

The sensors have matured, the MP 'war' seem to ease up going of tangents for different uses. Now, the form factor will be the major point.

Best set in 20 years of this site. Period.

I do own the 1D, I still take pictures with it. I have 20x30 posters with pics from that body.

The IQ is outstanding. The CCD provides colors hard to match. The sensor has been extraordinary.

Yes, its 800+ ISO can't compare to today's bodies, blah, blah...
Its LCD is terrible, I keep it off. It has NO VIDEO, thanks Lord.
The batteries are clunky, but okay. It has been a beast and total winner 20 years ago and now.

And, yes, I have the original 1Ds too.

"Not so good for
Photographers that don't need (or won't benefit from) the a1's combination of abilities. Those that need maximum resolution and dynamic range."

Wow. When there is nothing negative to say, they had to invent the most moronic sentence on the internet. Bravo Amazon.

RIP crappy sensor. 3K for E-M1X = NO.

Pretty much all digital cameras provide similar IQ at their respective level.

Now, this Z5. No IBIS.

Oly E-M5 II is already 'ancient' for digital body. I can slap any lens and get IBIS to work for me. IQ wise, not much different from this.

I don't know, Nikon. I'd rather stick to Z6/Z7. This Z5, I don't think so.

Well, after seeing this I am glad I got Olympus E-M5II for $380 and PanaLeica 15mm f/1.7 for $300.

No need to drop 1K for this kind of carp.

vscd: One RAW file is about 130 MB. I guess I have to replace my 386SX with a DX now...

Well, I don't know. You might wanna splurge for 486DX now.

Pretty bad in terms of IQ, high noise levels, white balance, colors.

Nikon D4s 12mp with cheap 200-500 destroys this cr@p.

Many too heavy/too big pansies in here. So be it.

IMO, this body is perfect size/weight with both grips. It was my dream to have body like this during Canon 1D days. 1D is (was) too big/bulky, some might say, but his puppy is just perfect in adult's hand.

3/4 deadd? not for me. Their bodies/glass/size to price beats all NikCanSonFuj crowd.

After owning endless Ca/Nik/Son bodies and lenses and now having E-M5II, this is my dream body.

85% score, ah? Well, that was to be expected from this site.

Good times. DPreview was the only respectable player in town, especially with its reviews.

This is just the 1st step, people. In 5-10 years, once this gets more of self learning ability, it will destroy anything real.

Amazing.

No IBIS, no sale. Canon had its chance and blew it. Nikon did not. Having IS in lenses only instead of camera body is not good anymore. It will not make things lighter for sure.
