Kuzmabrik: I hope that X-S10 is not a X-t30´s successor and they will announce X-T40 soon.

There are a lot of X-T10 and X-T20 users (and possibly some of X-T30 users too) that wait exactly for X-T40. They need the same camera in terms of control, design and handling. X-S10 doesn't meet these requirements.

FF, IS and small size. Well, we got to admit that it is a move in the right direction for FF cameras.

Chinese tech companies grow very fast and do really a great job! It is highly possible that in the future they will also enter MILC market with some competitive products.

Surely it will be a nice and reliable camera - Pentax know how to do it right. But only pentaxians will buy it. Just to have PENTAX (and I can understand them). It will hardly attract newbies or non-pentaxian photographers. Optical viewfinder definitely can't be a main advantage of a camera.

It is the first really compact mirrorless FF camera. It is even smaller than some APS-ะก and m4/3 cameras so it could be a game changer.

Ops. I haven't read the description. Looks like the ending is the main idea of the whole video... In this case I don't like it. I thought the author wanted to say something more significant.

It could be interesting news if everybody was not so tired of "climate change hysteria".

Kuzmabrik: Such a big country. Strange decision!

Requirements for creating local manufacturing is not about protectionism, is about employment creation. Such policies is absolutely fair especially in developing countries. They has no alternative. But with camera production it doesn't work as it can't create a lot of jobs.

It is interesting how did Sony get the status of a favorite brand there making products that are more expensive than from any other company. It is not something new for a developing country. For example in Turkey I noticed that some companies really dominate without any reason except some preferences that they got from the government.

Kuzmabrik: Why there are no europeans on these photos? There could be one migrant, ok, two. But all of them?

Well, at least two of them are migrants or at least their posterity. Nobody will sort out who are they, people just see black people and muslims. Check your facts. 3/4 of the nominated photographers of this international award are Europeans who decided to send photos with non-Europeans. Why? Because there is a trend. This topic is hot and welcomed by jury of such contests.

The fact that Europeans are minority in the world doesn´t change anything. For 3/4 of nominated photographers, they are majority. In addition, following your logic half of the photos should depict Chinese or Indian people.

Ok, Richard, why only non-europeans? 3/4 are black. And all of them are from Africa or Middle East. And what would say people who promote ideas of political correctness if there were only white people? They would say - it is racism.

goactive: So only $6000 for a Fuji lens that cannot even match a 70-200 at 200mm and 2.8 on a FF camera. I am sure it will be sharp but the limits of a cropped body just make this a huge paperweight. You can buy a FF camera and a great lens for less money.

Not to mention MF cameras :D

xPhoenix: So how are galleries different than albums?

In albums you place your own photos. In galleries - photos published by other photographers.
