For my business in a practical sense, whether equipment is getting more expensive is determined by how much I can gradually increase the price of my services to sustain the...

Spot on observation! Totally agree. However, not to argue, but this specific photo event was designed around actual cameras and not phones, so it's not surprising it turned out like this. If it...

I have an R3 and I find the eye-AF not to my liking. I much prefer the default AF, which is already superb. One reason eye AF doesn't work for me is because i tend to check all corners of my...

Leica is the king of limited editions, but with so many varieties, are they really "limited"?

Keyboard critics are likely the last breed to die out. Seriously, if you can do better, then submit a picture to the contest or post a link to something better that you took to prove your point. At...

Don't mean any disrespect but I think you're just using it wrong. I've had the R6 and now the R6ii and the new model's AF is almost on par with my R3.

"canon has a history of ergonomic issues" ??? Working pros love Canon ergonomics. And that link to the DP thread shows that most people are fine with the position of the ON/OFF switch, so I'm not...

Speaking from experience, I've used the R6ii on a few concerts (biggest concert had +100,000 audience) as my second body (next to R3) since the start of the year and it's been great. I would...

I can't second this article enough. Controlled artificial light can dramatically improve a shot when done right. Unfortunately a lot of ppl never graduate beyond on-camera flash.

I looked up Gordon Drake and found no films to his credit. ;) But his review seemed informed and quite entertaining so I'll continue to support Gordon (sorry Jordan).

Everyone's taste varies and mine clearly are not consistent with the judges' for this contest. I don't claim to like most of the winning images so I can only ask myself if I can take the same image...

Not just photography, but images in general. An Illustrator vector drawing could easily be ripped off, too.

Unless it covers the entire image and the repair tool can't remove the watermark without completely destroying the image.
-
Isn't digital watermarking already available? Can it be expanded to include date of purchase/release of use/user name/authentification/etc?

I have a 328 for Canon and love it. I also had a Nikon 328 on my D850 and loved that, too. There's just something special about the 328. Yes, heavy! But you know every image will be spectacular.
-
I expect Sony to go all-out and increase their footprint in the 2024 Olympics. This 328 is just the first salvo. 428 and 640 might also be possible entries in time for the Games.

Leica bashing happens because Leica prices its products at absurd levels. No one can argue with a straight face that any modern Leica camera is worth its price. Is the Q2 a fine camera for...

Is this considered a different color science? Just not in the sensor...
