What is the frame rate of the Hero5 images when shot in RAW mode. It's not mentioned

Anyone remember the movie Airplane! This article and comments somewhat reminds me of it. Funny!

Slouch Hooligan: Can we PLEASE have PhotoForge back in the App Store?
I would pay for it again but it has disappeared down the drain that is Yahoo!

PhotoForge 2 is dead, killed by iOS 9 and newer hardware.
http://lifeinlofi.com/2015/10/02/old-photo-apps-photoforge-2-is-finally-dead/

"Although the app was end-of-lifed in June 2013, it still worked in the subsequent iOS and hardware updates until now. iOS 9 and the new iPhones with their larger screens finally break PhotoForge 2. The app will open but once inside, none of the tools work." If you already previously purchased PhotoForge, The iPhone SE "may" work due to the 4" screen or it may not because of its beefed up processors.

Everlast66: So there is a chance that they remove the ridiculous requirement to provide them with your mobile phone if you want an account at all.

... or maybe they'll start asking for finger prints and iris scans in addition now.

This security number requirement is 3 years old. I never had to enter a security number as my Yahoo account dates back about 15 years when it wasn't necessary to provide one.

“You must have at least 1 recovery phone number or recovery email address on your account at all times. If you have only 1 recovery phone number (and no recovery email address), you’ll need to add a second recovery number before you can remove the first one.”

Based on what is written in the support page, you will need a secondary email adress to be without a mobile number in Yahoo Mail.

wklee: The MR3040 doesn't even show up in the inventory list when I went to a retailer enquiring about it. I asked one of my friends who owns a MAC shop. I got the reply that it has been EOLed in Singapore. I did buy some a few months ago but was looking for more.

There is some confirmation at dslrdashboard.info

http://dslrdashboard.info/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=1688

"Having been in contact with TP-Link customer support, they have informed me that although it is still under warranty, they cannot send me a replacement MR3040 because they are no longer producing that."

Is this another Fujifilm/Oly xD card in the making, like the Sony M2 memory card was? Remember that only Fuji and Olympus supported the xD cards?

JakeB: But it was taken with a LEICA lens on a Huawei phone, right?

No. If you look at the EXIF, you can see that the image was taken with a 5D Mk III and 70 - 200mm lens.

I don't touch Photos at all, not in iOS Nor OSX. Lightroom does most of the editing.

Hopefully, nothing gets fried as there have been reports of USB-C damaging motherboards.

belle100: I was expecting "MediaTek launches Imagiq ISP for dual cameras" before I enter this.

"MediaTek launches Imagiq ISP for dual cameras" is not broken if you clicked on Read more... but...

It is broken if you clicked on the headline. I'd expect DPR to correct it.

On article iPhone SE is a compact-sized iPhone 6s (184 comments in total)

With Apple's current lineup consisting of the iPhone 5s, 6, 6+, 6s, 6s+, there are 4 phone models with identical sizes anyway. With 7 being released in September '16, it makes sense to simplify the lineup.

I wonder how much of Motorola did Google keep prior to selling it to Lenovo?

On article Apple launches battery case for iPhone 6 & 6s (147 comments in total)

The Apple iPhone 6s external battery case is perhaps unique for the battery pack but is not unique as a case, however.

http://www.thinoptics.com/shop

It looks similar to a reading glasses case for iPhones.

Hasn't it been said that Apple waits to get things right before introducing a product??

Yeah, it is a battery. What's different about it?
