wklee: I would have attempted to get a replacement monitor.

I was thinking of a monitor replacement under warranty, if possible. I have never encountered any insects crawling inside any monitors that I've owned. Dead pixel?

Dell has a 1-to-1 replacement for their Ultrasharp series.

The rumour is that the iPhone 8 (pictured?) is a 5.8" phone with a 2:1 ratio much like the Samsung Galaxy S8. The 7 Plus is a 5.5" phone.

When I was a twenty there were film cameras. And DynaTacs for those who could afford them.

Linerider: So this only works with the latest Apple device.
What's the point?

iOS 11 being a 64bit OS should be compatible with the iPhone 5s onwards. We'll have to wat for its release.

It's one of the results of Apple and Nokia ending their dispute. Sounds great to me.

It would fit right in in Japan. That country has got nearly every gadget conceivable?

If Apple had given the iPad the SE treatment, I might have gone for it. Why stick with a 8MP camera? I haven't checked pricing yet,

Nokia is rereleasing the Nokia 3310. Anyone who doesn't like the new iPhones can always trade features for simplicity can't they?

I meant ACR 9.1.1

No. I didn't. I was quite happy with my 808.

Lumia 1020, unlike the Nokia 808 which can take images at 38MP or 41 via 3rd Party app, 8MP or 5MP, can only take 21MP photos? I have not heard of 41MP output from the 1020.

I don't see why I couldn't be done with an old Nokia N9 running Maemo? Some people put. Sailfish OS in the N9s and Jolla is founded by ex Nokia employees.

Don't people use phones vertically? Judging by those portrait orientation videos... Darn annoying.

What is the frame rate of the Hero5 images when shot in RAW mode. It's not mentioned

Anyone remember the movie Airplane! This article and comments somewhat reminds me of it. Funny!

Slouch Hooligan: Can we PLEASE have PhotoForge back in the App Store?
I would pay for it again but it has disappeared down the drain that is Yahoo!

PhotoForge 2 is dead, killed by iOS 9 and newer hardware.
http://lifeinlofi.com/2015/10/02/old-photo-apps-photoforge-2-is-finally-dead/

"Although the app was end-of-lifed in June 2013, it still worked in the subsequent iOS and hardware updates until now. iOS 9 and the new iPhones with their larger screens finally break PhotoForge 2. The app will open but once inside, none of the tools work." If you already previously purchased PhotoForge, The iPhone SE "may" work due to the 4" screen or it may not because of its beefed up processors.

Everlast66: So there is a chance that they remove the ridiculous requirement to provide them with your mobile phone if you want an account at all.

... or maybe they'll start asking for finger prints and iris scans in addition now.

This security number requirement is 3 years old. I never had to enter a security number as my Yahoo account dates back about 15 years when it wasn't necessary to provide one.

“You must have at least 1 recovery phone number or recovery email address on your account at all times. If you have only 1 recovery phone number (and no recovery email address), you’ll need to add a second recovery number before you can remove the first one.”

Based on what is written in the support page, you will need a secondary email adress to be without a mobile number in Yahoo Mail.
