Well I have 70-200 S and TC2x Z. It works fine but you need to have good light since the lens goes to f5.6. IQ is very good, but at 400mm f5.6 it is not so good. Stepping down improves a lot and ...

Very interesting. I agree with you when you need the 200-500 youare not with it because the weight. How do you compare 70-200 + 2xTC, 100-400 and 200-500 in terms of sharpness? I´m not thinking of ...

I have this lens also. It is sharper than 70-200 + TC 2x @400 f5.6. I´m still use it, my main complain is how much I have to rotate the zoom colar, size and weight, but it is a good lens.

I have the 70-200 and 2x TC. It is a nice combination with good results. The only situation that sharpness is not good is at 400mm and f5.6, f8 is good and f11 very nice.

Thanks a lot. I know North Georgia but without snow. I would like also to go to Canada west coast. Lots of animals and snow.

Hey congrats. Amazing pictures, amazing place. The kind of thing I would love to do. Gongrats again.

It really depends of what you consider in terms of image quality. I never had the 24-200 but 24-120 is my favorite lens for traveling. It has a fast enought aperture, nice range and a good weight. ...

I have both and they work really fine. No complains until now.

I usually use the 24-120 for travel photos. Quality and range are really good. I usually don´t miss the 200mm unless some really special situation 20 to 10% of the total pictures taken. In my ...

I faced the same dilema some time ago. Finally I decided by 20mm f1.8. 14-30 has an overlap with 24-70 and brings me 20/14mm. In the other side f1.8 lens bring me image quality and low light ...

I went back to see the lady´s eye and started taking a close look in all eyes. I would say all of them tell the same story, horror, sadness, etc. Really enjoyed the pictures.

Agree in both points. 100-400 S looks good for me.

I have the 24-70 f2.8 and 20/35/85 f1.8. I some times take 24-70 and 35mm together exactly because of size and weight. Once in a 10 days trip, good part of it was walking, I got really tired of ...

My prime combo is 20, 35 and 85. 35 has a wider field of view than 50mm. In my point of view is a great walkaround lens, street photography, family portrait, etc. Once I traveled to Paris and was ...

I also came from D850, and I can say it was the best DSLR I ever had, there was nothing very serious I would change on it. Then when I decided to move to Z cameras I realized that Z6 and Z7 had a ...

Well most of the posts should say the same thing, depends of your usage and what you consider good enough. Let me try to explain: 2 years ago I traveld to france, it was my dream trip. I simply ...

Hello anothermike. I saw that you do portraits with both 85mm 1.8 and 105mm f1.4E. Any preference? I also have both and I can see diferences between them. Mainly colors since Im using Z6 and it is ...

I had 1 Tamron, some time ago and didn´t like it. Construction is poor. Nothing to compare with Nikon S series or even f-mount. Sharp is not the only parameter to analyse a lens.

Hello,I have Z6 w 24-70 f4 and f2.8. Before that I had D850 w 24-70 f2.8 and 24-120 f4. With Z6 the diference is not so big, but with a high res sensor you start seing more diference. 2.8 lenses ...
