Pity about the curved screen - what was wrong with flat screens!

A very pretty but basic model. It will be at 50% of launch price within a year and loads of seemingly new "manufacturer refurbished" on Ebay just like all the other entry level pens. Really no PDAF in 2021?

The small EVF is disappointing just like Sony A7c -can no one make a rangefinder style with a good EVF? (apart from Leica). At least they used a much better LCD than the Sony A7c even though it is half the price! Sony LCD quality is embarrassing.

Seems more of a fashion accessory that a practical camera now. Why remove so many features- just for clean looks

Looks like they are going for high build quality lenses -but not that fast or that small or cheap. I like the fact they have aperture rings -seem perfect for A7c which does not have front control wheel. I will stick with the tiny, light and cheap Samyang lenses that also have faster apertures!

mu7z: Other than cost why what's the advantage/disadvantage of this vs the Sony a7c?

The Fuji has better EVF, screen, ergonomics and better IBIS -Sony giro stabilization image quality and battery life?
But you can't ignore price?

Looking good -the EVF really .93 magnification?-far better than Sony A7c if it is.

In the comparison you are are wrong about the A6600 having built in flash -it doesn't.

Err Toyota made a mark X car in Japan! Of course it followed the earlier Toyota mark II

I assume they over think the phycological importance and think they are clever at naming things -
Sony now have the Xperia 1 Mk II phone which is of course followed by the Xperia 5 Mk II -completely mad!

D7000ShooterUK: If would have made more sense for Fuji to bring out a 56mm f/1.2 Mark II with weather sealing and a faster autofocus mechanism instead of this.

True- but then they could not charge as much

I have the Tamron 28-200 and would not want to go longer with Sony's weak IBIS

Nice phone with good ideas but unfortunately what these latest Sony phones do is show how far behind even the best camera companies are when it comes to imaging software - I mean $1300 and nowhere near the best phone camera-which is probably the note 20 ultra or Xiaomi mi 10 ultra at present.

Grey market FE28-70 typically £180 is an OK lens very light
