On challenge Age old photos (6 comments in total)

Another example of bad hosting... The challenge's theme and rules
are not clearly presented and explained. Majority of the entries
should be DQ-ed , they don't fit what the challenge's is about :
"Kids in action...Various challenges with kids"...

In reply to:

gnet158: Glad to see the good old D700 still capturing great images! Despite some dismissing it for it age. Wonderful shot!

Are you sure , that the photo was taken with the Nikon
D700 camera ?... The image doesn't have any exif data.
All the technical information under the photo has been
put manually into the challenge's entry form.
...And it's not " the good old D700 still capturing great
images" - but the "photographer" having great
Photoshop's skills...

tasad: @ Ohmyhi : who did you create the challenge for ?...
For yourself and for your sister ?... Two entries were taken by you
and seven entries were taken by your sister...
And don't lie that the pictures were transfered from DSLR to your Iphone
and then processed with the VSCO Cam app.
It's a farce not a challenge!

On challenge Filter Hack! Portraits using some sort of filter hack (4 comments in total)
In reply to:

tasad: 9 entries and only one - IMO - comply with the challenge's
theme/rules...

...The image with the "hazy effect " .
Not a "silicone plumber's grease" was used - but
wide open , Nikkor 105 mm f/ 2 Defocus Image Control
lens.
...The image with the "textured glass".
The wide open portrait lens ( Nikon 1 System Nikkor
32mm f/1.2 ) has very narrow DOF , and produces
soft , blurred images , especially if the photographer
was unlucky to buy an unsharp copy of the lens.
...The "Marathon Man".
When 40 000 people are running the Mumbai Marathon ,
is difficult to isolate from the crowd a single face , even
if a photographer uses 300mm focal length to avoid
some distinctive elements in the frame.
...Three photographers entered wrong challenge.
There was "Translucent" challenge for those who
"shoot through something translucent" . A window is
not something which can be attached to a lens' filter.
...And two entries have nothing to do with the
challenge's theme. They are a Photoshop products.

" This series is aimed at people who use mirrorless or DSLR cameras. "
As the host of the challenge , you should clearly know ,
that Olympus SZ-30MR ( used to take this picture ) is not
a mirrorless or DSLR camera...

You are the date taken cheater...
How come it was " taken" on Tuesday, 2nd June, 2015 - if it
was posted on your Google account on 13th . December, 2011 ?

On challenge Life and death (11 comments in total)

Majority of the entries are not a "still life" photos.
Eight entries broke the date taken rule : the date
was cheated or exif removed.
The "winning" photo is a stolen photo.
Disaster...:-(

On challenge Helios: Swirl Bokeh (14 comments in total)
In reply to:

Kal Biro: "6. Exit Data should be there."

Did you mean "Exif Data"?

The lens information in the exif data can't be there...
All Helios lenses are manual focus lenses , and they
don't communicate electronically ( except a focus
confirmation adapter ) with cameras.
