Nilesh Trivedi: The "Images must be shot after the announcement date of the challenge" rule seems unduly restrictive and limiting. Please consider opening up the capture date! Thanks.

Done ?... really ?... how did you do that ?

In reply to:

Tim Reidy Productions: The ones that made it made it, good luck.

@Leswick II ... according to detailed exif data of the image :
https://www.dpreview.com/galleries/0388697750/photos/3992456/d01_2614-xa
... when taking the picture , you've set manually the camera's
WB to "Cool White Fluorescent' color temperature ...
So ( maybe a 10yrs old knows this) - why the scene is orange ?...

@MannyZero : do you still use other photographers images
when suffering from the lack of creativity ?

You have some "date taken" cheaters in this challenge.

@ZeBebito : sorry for being unclear... I've tried to say , that
the image # 3 here , and the image #43 here :
https://www.dpreview.com/samples/1894109960/sony-fe-35mm-f1-8-sample-gallery-updated
- were taken with the same lens , but "technically" these two images are different...

These are two different ( but similar) pictures taken 30 sec. apart
at different camera's setting. Check the exif data again... And at
the "full view" check the difference of photographer's reflection
on the teacup handle...

The exif data has not been "fixed" because it can not be "fixed" (it can only be
altered)... Both images were taken by the same photographer , with the same camera/lens - but with a different camera's setting and a little bit different camera's position...

Nothing special , nothing creative : just a template
used around the world by thousands
"baby - shots - studios "...

In reply to:

tasad: Not a "noise" but a film grain and the fog...

Generally I agree :)... The only problem I have is that the introduction
to the challenge suggested achieving the "noise" by "inceasing the ISO"
- not by "increasing the ASA"...

Albert Valentino: Very nice job. I assume this is some type of a blend of two exposures since some of the brightness of the reflected stars seem brighter than the original

Do you mean "some editing" as falsifying the date taken ?...
